This beautiful tested 18 karat yellow gold, ruby and diamond locket dates to c.1870. One Old European Cut natural ruby, approximately 0.50 carats in weight, is surrounded by 5 old European cut diamonds, each weighing 0.04 carats (SI1, G-H). It measures 5.7cms (2.25 inches) and the tapered bale, which is 1.9cms (0.75 inches), is stamped 750. Total weight is 41.2 grams.
