locket, 18kt gold with three drops.  The central oval mosaic shows the Greek letters “Chi-Rho” for Christ.  The backed is marked “Roma” in raised gold letters and the interior is inscribed “12 April 1873, CR.”  Very much in the style of Italian revivalist jeweller Castellani.
