Important Antique sterling silver chalice by Savage, Lyman & Co., Montreal. Joseph Savage and his brother-in-law Theodore Lyman were joined in partnership with Henry Birks and Charles Hagar in the years from 1867 to 1878.
The cup has a repousse maple leaf frieze and a gilded interior. It is engraved "Tria Juncta In Uno", Latin for "Three joined in one". This is the motto for The Most Honourable Order of the Bath, and is associated with British Army insignia.
The cup is 6 1/4" high, 3 3/4" in diameter at the lip.
