Victorian Doulton Burslem floral vase featuring roses in bloom, hand painted in shades of blue with gilding at the rim and the base, circa 1896-1902.
The vase is signed near the base by A (Arthur) Scott who painted for Doulton 1896-1906. Scott painted florals, specializing in roses. This specific Doulton Burslem England trademark was used between 1891-1902, therefore dating this piece between 1896 and 1902.
There is a minor restoration at the rim. Wear consistent with age.
