Wedgwood Jasperware Sporting Mug, designed by Richard Guyatt circa 1965. Decorated with white sprigged lettering spelling “A SOUVENIR” within which are cartouches of British sporting events and venues. The events and venues are labelled on the base.

* Prodessor Richard Guyatt (1914-2007) was a British designer. He was the youngest ever professor at the Royal College of Art upon his appointment in 1948. He worked at the college for 34 years.
He also did design work for Wedgwood, coins for the Royal Mint and postage stamps for the Royal Mail. He was awarded a CBE (Commander of the Order of the British Empire) in 1969.
