Product Details
Victorian pressed glass celery vases, circa 1880-1900, produced by both Canadian and American glass companies.
In the 19th century celery was considered a delicacy. To present it to your guests in a special vessel with a flourish was an expression of abundance and good hospitality.
In the 21st century we have seen many collectors display them on a mantel or running down a table, filled with shells, pillar candles, or flowers.
