French hand painted porcelain dresser box.  Hexagonal in form with gilt metal mounts.

The cover and sides are decorated with floral sprays filling the blank spaces in an endless knot, in the form of alternating ribbons of green or gilded leaves, against a blue fish scale ground.  The box has a Sevres style trademark on the base.

There is an internal crack, noticeable only from the inside.  

Wear consistent with age and use.

4” (10.2cm) high at the finial, 4 1/2” (11.4cm) diameter.
