Moorcroft jam pot in the Eventide pattern, circa 1925. Landscape designs were a source of inspiration in the early 1920s, with Eventide introduced in 1923.
The jam pot is decorated with tube lined trees in coloured glazes of rich orange/rust, reds and greens, the interior is entirely teal blue. The hammered pewter lid is stamped Tudric Moorcroft, the indication that the lid was made by Liberty's & Co. for this Moorcroft piece, exclusively for their retail. The impressed factory mark is on the underside of the jar.
The pot is 3" (7.6cm) high.
The pot and lid is 4" (10.1cm) high.
The diameter of the pewter lid is 3 1/4" (8.3cm).
