Victorian Hand Painted China, Unmarked, Attributed Minton, Circa 1850

Victorian hand painted china, unmarked, attributed to Minton, circa 1850.

It is a multi motif pattern, as there are many variations within the flowers depicted, all painted and gilded by hand, with an intense fuchsia pink border.  This would be a great display set to fill a breakfront.  The largest tureen has an old museum mend, and the rest of the set is in excellent condition.

The set is comprised of:

1 soup tureen and cover, 14” (35.5cm) by 9” (22.8cm), 9” (22.8cm) high,

tureen with museum mend.

2 three piece sauce tureens; tureen, cover and stand

2 oval covered vegetable bowls

1 platter, 15” (38.1cm) by 12” (30.5cm)

2 platters, 13” (33cm) by 10” (25.4cm)

2 rim soup bowls, 10 1/4” (26cm)

$2500 for the set.
