A very regal Mintons cabinet urn, with hand painted landscape panels on a rare yellow ground.
In a Greek campana form on a raised square base. Mintons, Stoke-on-Trent, circa 1900.
The insert panels are hand painted in vibrant colours. One is of a house, bridge and stream with a mountain background. The reverse side is a landscape with a castle, possibly Windsor Castle.
The vase is heavily gilded, depicting many different design motifs, including foliate scrolls, laurel wreaths, acanthus leaves and jewelled swags.
11 1/2” high, 6” across the handles.
