Royal Doulton Flambé dragon, model # 2085, designed by John Bromley (died 2013), one of Doulton’s master ceramic sculptors.  Produced from 1973-1996.

10” (25.4cm) by 7 1/4” (18.4cm), 7 1/2” (19cm) high.

One of Royal Doulton’s most prolific designers was Charles Noke (1858-1941).  Noke developed the fiery red flambé glazes first exhibited at the St. Louis Exhibition of 1904. The flambé glaze proved to be very popular and was made in a wide range of figurines and decorative vessels.
