At first glance it looks like beeds to make vintage amber jewellery, and is often mistaken for vintage amber.

This is Phenolic Resin it was made in Germany in the 1920s to the 1940s.

We have to say this duped us anditially our appraisers as we bought it to make vintage amber jewellery.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up to be careful!
