At Cynthia Findlay Antiques we pride ourselves in customer service and strive to make your online buying experience enjoyable and hassle-free. In order to provide the best quality service, we ask that you take a moment to look over our selling policies.
It is important to recognize that most of our products are not brand new, and as such they will be in antique, vintage, or estate condition, meaning they may have various signs of wear or imperfections. If an item is damaged in any way, we will mark it in the description with the term “As Found”, which indicates that we have already taken its condition into account when determining the price. We ask that if you have any further questions concerning the condition of an item it is important to inquire about it prior to purchase as ALL SALES FINAL..
As a small business, we care a lot about the relationships we build with our customers, both in store and online. If you have any questions or concerns during the process of placing orders, or if for whatever reason, you are unsatisfied with an item you have purchased from us, we are happy to work with you to come up with a solution.

Returns and Exchanges
All sales are final unless clearly agreed to in writing by Cynthia Findlay Antiques prior to said item being returned. In the event that a return is made for any other reason, the customer will receive store credit in the same amount at which the original item is priced, in lieu of a full cash refund. Exchanges must be approved within 30 days.
All orders are charged in $CAD. Additional currencies available on this site using the currency converter are recommended as guide only and can vary depending upon the country's daily exchange rate
Shipping & Handling
We will ship within Canada and Internationally to select countries.
We do charge for Shipping and Transit Insurance coverage plus Handling.
Canada Post does not cover breakage of any posted item; but we can usually arrange to ship insured for both loss and damage via a reputable shipper. We do not release any items purchased to a customer's shipper, without prior approval.
The total shipping cost will be calculated manually after checkout. This will be done individually on a case by case basis as we are not able to automate this process at the moment.
HST (13%) is charged on sales made in Ontario. If shipped to other Provinces, Territories or First Nations Reserves the applicable Tax Rate is charged. When exported out of Canada, items are exempt from HST; however there may be cross-border charges upon entry into the distination country. The purchaser is responsible, in addition to the shipping cost, for any cross-border charges, i.e.; duties, taxes or customs fee.
For an instore visit we accept cash, debit, master card and visa. For online shopping, it is necessary to contact our shop and arrange to pay via e$transfer, bank wire deposits and www.wise.com (formerly TransferWise). The website online check out payment feature is currently disabled.
