This Victorian brooch features one claw-set, oval cut amethyst (21.20carats:LI clarity: Intense purple colour). Surrounding the amethyst in an intricate 14 karat gold setting are split pearls. This is a lovely brooch and could easily be worn as a pendant.Circa 1890.
