Antique brown transfer ware platter of the "Maple" pattern.  The pattern features a beaver surrounded by a maple leaf border.  This pattern was made by T. Furnival & Sons  from 1884 to 1890.

The measurements are 16 1/4" by 11 3/4".  This piece has a small hairline crack.
