A covered Royal Crown Derby urn, date marked for 1886.  

The background colour is a deep red hue with a greyish-violet coloured band around the upper middle portion. Decorated with insects, garlands, roundels and other floral and geometric gilded ornamentation. 

10” high, 5 1/4” across the handles.
