950 Fine Silver jewellery box, marked 950 Sterling, early 20th century.

The overall chased design of the lid is nicely framed by a chamfered edge.

The jewellery box construction is silver over a wood base, with the original plush crimson velvet lining.  The internal fitted tray lifts out to offer more storage below.  

The original key is included and the lock is in working condition.

8 1/2” (21.6cm) by 5 3/4” (14.6cm), 3 1/2” (8.9cm) high.
