Hand carved blue alabaster Ionic column bookends.  The columns are intentionally left uneven at the top to suggest that they are ruins from antiquity.

The original labels stating that they are genuine alabaster and hand carved in Italy are intact on the bottom

5 3/4” (14.6cm) high, 

5 1/2” (14cm) by 2 5/8” (6.6cm) at the D shaped base.
