Anna Weatherley Designs * hand painted porcelain dejeuner tray, decorated with butterflies, bees and fruit on embossed and gilded white porcelain.  

The designs are inspired by 17th and 18th century botanical art and painted by hand in Budapest, Hungary.  The porcelain is provided by Pirkenhammer of the Czech Republic, in business since 1803.  This tray is numbered 4888 and has the signature of the painter, possibly Kovacs Tamas.

* Anna Weatherley is a Hungarian born, American designer who has had many artistic related professions, including being an antiques dealer and designing high couture through the 1970s/80s, with a client base including Elizabeth Taylor, Lady Bird Johnson and Jane Fonda, before moving into designing hand painted porcelain in the early 1990s.  Her designs have graced the tables of The White House for First Lady Laura Bush and she was commissioned by Anna Wintour to provide a gift of a pair of cachepots for Diana, Princess of Wales in the 1990s.
