The calibre-cut synthetic blue sapphires are precisely shaped and closely fitted within the setting, creating smooth bands of vivid blue colour with minimal visible metal between the stones. The brooch features one bezel-set, old European cut diamond weighing approximately .37ct. (Clarity: I1, Colour: H - I). It is further set with six channel-set, square cut synthetic blue sapphires weighing approximately .60ct. They are moderately included and deep blue.
