Product Description

Antique silver Etrog box, 812.5 Fine Silver, made in Vienna, Austria.  The box is beautifully formed with undulating sides and cover and raised on bracket feet.  The hinged lid has a flower bud finial and opens to show the original gilded interior is intact.

The box is marked on the cover; the A of the alphabetical and numerical state mark indicates it was assayed in Vienna, Austria.  The numbers 1 8 6 0 on either side of the circle indicates the assay date of 1860.  The 13 in the circle represents 13 lothige, 812.5 Fine Silver.

5 1/2” (14cm) by 3 1/2” (8.9cm), 4 3/4” (12.1cm) high.
