Antique porcelain apothecary jars, Paris Porcelain, mid-19th century.

10.  NITR:  DE SOSA:  (saltpeter/sodium nitrate; used medically for heart disease and hyper tension) 11 1/2” (29.3cm) high, 5 1/2” (14cm) diameter.

11.  blank, 11” (28cm) high, 5” (12.7cm) diameter.

12.  G:  ARAB:  Sa en POLV:  (gum arabic, a dietary fibre used to treat cholesterol, diabetes and irritable bowel syndrome) 11” (28cm) high, 5” (12.7cm) diameter.

The apothecary jars have minor chips and wear to the gilding; wear consistent with age and use.
