Antique French silver cake server, in the original presentation box, early 20th century.  The handle has the French standard mark for 950 Fine Silver, the Goddess Minerva with the number 1 at her forehead in an octagonal shield.

The original box is identified as:

R. Barre

Bijoutier (jewellers)

Poitiers (southwest of Paris, France)

The server is 11 1/2” (29.2cm) long.

The box is 13” (33cm) by 3 1/2” (9cm), 1 1/2” (3.8cm) high.
