Antique olive wood inlay jewellery / keepsake box, Italian, 19th century.  The box features intricate marquetry inlay of olive wood and satin wood, with a romantic depiction of a lady in 19th century attire holding a basket of fruit.  The inside of the hinged cover is also inlaid with a monogram within a floral wreath.  Suitable for jewellery and keepsakes and it is an ideal size for photographs.

8” (20.3cm) by 6” (15.3cm), 2 1/2” (6.4cm) high.  The top is slightly domed.
