Product Description

Art Deco August Walther & Sohne (son) amethyst glass vase, with classical inspired gilded frieze of people dancing, Germany, circa 1930s.  Walther established his glass company in 1888 in Ottendorf-Okrilla, near Dresden, Germany and was a prolific exporter of Moser style art glass to the UK in the 1930s.

The signature on the bottom of the vase is within the mould, Walther D.R.P. ang.

3 3/4” (9.5cm) high, 4 1/4” (10.8cm) diameter at the rim.
