Art Deco bakelite and silver plate fish service for 12 in the original fitted box, circa 1930. The vibrant green handles are an exciting contrast to the silver plate. The pieces are trademarked: M & Y S EP, for Maleham & Yeomans of Sheffield, Electro Plate, who were in business 1901-31. The cover of the box has an inlaid brass shield shaped plaque suitable for engraving, and the original key is included. All of the pieces are in good condition except for one knife that has an internal crack but is intact and usable. The fork is 6 5/8” (16.8cm) long. The knife is 7 7/8” (20cm) long. The box is 13 1/4” (33.6cm) by 10 1/4” (26cm), 2 1/2” (6.3cm) high.
