Art Deco Carlton Ware coffee set, decorated with butterflies, spiders and cobwebs on an orange lustre ground with gilded rims, handles and finial. Pattern # 3024, made circa 1921-27. The set consists of the coffee pot, creamer, open sugar bowl and 5 cups and saucers. Three of the cups have hairline cracks and they all show some staining. The sugar bowl has a small chip at the base. It is a beautiful and unusual display set! The coffee pot is 8” (20.3cm) high. the creamer is 3 1/4” (8.2cm) high. The demitasse cups are 2 1/4” (5.7cm) high. The saucers are 4 3/8” (11.1cm) diameter. $695 for the set, condition noted.
