Art Deco Christofle “Ondulations” ice bucket, designed circa 1935 by Luc Lanel as part of a three piece barware set for the first class dining room of the ocean liner S.S. Normandie.  The ice bucket is silver plate and is complete with the original internal strainer, allowing the ice to sit above the melt water.  Christofle, made in France.

5 1/4” (13.3cm) high, 9” (22.8cm) high with the handle up, 

5” (12.7cm) diameter at the rim.
