Product Description

Art Deco English sterling silver box with cedar lining.  Suitable for a desk or dressing table, for him or her.  Fully hallmarked for London 1923, made by the silversmith firm A.M. & M. Ltd.

The textured engine turned engraving on the cover frames the central roundel, engraved with a monogram, possibly MI or MJ.  The box is in good condition with minor dents; wear consistent with age and use.

8 3/4” (22.2cm) by 3 3/4” (9.5cm), 2 3/4” (7cm) high.  The cover is slightly domed.
