Art Deco sterling silver hand hammered 11 piece dresser set. The design combines a beautifully textured and hand hammered finish within a strong architectural Art Deco design flare. Trademarked: R W & S, STERLING, 9800-5, HAND HAMMERED, made by R. Wallace & Sons of Wallingford, Connecticut, circa 1925. The set is very similar in design to the Wallace sterling silver flatware pattern “Carthage”, introduced in 1917. The set is monogrammed with a stylized “E” and is in very good condition. The set consists of a hair brush, hand mirror, clothes brush, perfume bottle, powder jar, pin tray, shoehorn, nail file, cuticle tool, nail scissors and a nail buffer and stand. The length of the hand mirror is 11 7/8” (30.1cm). $ 1995 for the set.
