Product Description

Large Gouda jardiniere, made by Plateelbakkerji Zuid-Holland (PZH) * circa 1920-30.  The jardiniere is richly decorated with mustard yellow, burnt orange and shades of green.  The jardiniere does have a hairline crack and restoration at the rim but is usable. **

9” (22.9cm) high, 9 3/4” (24.8cm) diameter at the rim, 12 1/2” (31.8cm) diameter at the widest.

Condition noted.

* Plateelbakkerji Zuid-Holland (PZH) was a prominent Dutch ceramics manufacturer, in business circa 1898-1964 in Gouda, Netherlands.

** The restoration should not be exposed to water.
