Product Description

Art Deco R. Lalique “Algues” (Seaweed) bowl, model # 10-389, designed in 1933.  The shallow bowl is decorated with swirling fronds of seaweed, radiating out from the center in clear to opalescent glass.  Signed in the center in block letters:  R. LALIQUE FRANCE, dating it between 1933 and 1945.

The surface of the bowl has minor scratches, wear consistent with age and use.

14” (35.5cm) diameter, 2 3/4” (7cm) depth.
