Art Deco sterling silver and cut glass dresser/powder jar.  Made by William B. Kerr & Company of Newark, New Jersey, established in 1855 and bought out by Gorham Mfg in 1927.

The heavy silver lid is decorated with narrow bands of engine turned engraving, framing a central diamond shaped lozenge with the stylized monogram “L de G”.

The cut glass jar is decorated with 10 panels of six petal daisies.

4 3/4” (12.1cm) diameter, 2 3/4” (7cm) high.
