Product Description

Art Nouveau English sterling silver footed basket, hallmarked London 1920.  The makers mark is partially rubbed; attributed to Josiah Williams & Co. (David Landsborough Fullerton) of Augustine Parade, Bristol, England, in business circa 

1915-33.  The English registration number 577413 indicates the design was registered in 1911.

The elaborately pierced oval body is pierced with multiple scrolls and foliage emulating flowers, with an applied scroll border and raised on scrolled bracket feet.  The basket does not have monograms or presentation engravings.

10” (25.4cm) by 7 1/4” (18.5cm), 4” (10.2cm) high.
