Product Description

Birks sterling silver Melon design tea and coffee service, dated 1958/60.  The design is a Birks reproduction of a George IV tea set of 1829.  The tea pot and coffee pot have Birks date marks from 1960 and the creamer and sugar bowl are from 1958.  The cream and open sugar have an interior gold wash, as is the style of Georgian tea sets of this era.

The teapot is 6” (15.2cm) high at the handle.

The coffee pot is 8 1/2” (21.5cm) high at the handle.
