Georgian influenced Birks sterling silver and cobalt blue glass sugar castors.  The wire work design of the frame is reminiscent of late 18th century English wire work baskets.

Made by Birks Canada, in their Montreal workshops circa 1920.

7” (17.8cm) high, 2 1/2” (6.3cm) wide.
