Charming Victorian earthenware platter with pastoral river valley scene.  The brown transfer ware border is decorated with flowers and butterflies, with a multi colour pastoral scene in the center.  Complete with cows!  Trademarked only with an impressed “A”, English, circa 1850.

16” (40.7cm) by 12 1/2” (31.7cm).
