Copeland Spode Japanese inspired Imari Fence pattern (number D 794) teacup and saucer, decorated in under glaze cobalt blue and hand enamelled in multiple bold colours and gilded.  The teacup and saucer are printed with the Copeland trademark used circa 1851-85 and the saucer is clearly impressed with L over 76, the date mark for July 1876.

The teacup and saucer are in very good condition.

The teacup is 2 1/2” (6.4cm) high, 3 3/8” (8.6cm) diameter.

The saucer is 5 1/2” (14cm) diameter.
