Antique porcelain figure of a kingfisher bird, made by Zeh, Scherzer & Co. of Bavaria, Germany, circa 1918-30.  At this period of time the stamped trademark was shortened to Behscherzer. The kingfisher is realistically modelled and presented on a stylized white and gold plinth in the Art Deco style.

8 3/4” (22.2cm) high, 3 1/2” (8.9cm) diameter at the base.
