Art Deco August Walther & Sohne (son) attributed amethyst glass bowl with classical inspired gilded frieze, Germany, circa 1930’s.  Walther established his glass company in 1888 in Ottendorf-Okrilla, near Dresden, Germany and was a prolific exporter of Moser style art glass to the UK in the 1930’s.

There is minor wear to the gilding; wear consistent with age and use.

8” (20.3cm) diameter, 2 3/4” (7cm) high.
