Monumental Art Deco Daum Nancy art glass vase, Nancy, France, circa 1930s.  

The smoky quartz colour trumpet shaped vase is deeply acid etched cut to provide a contrast to the repeating geometric diagonals and circles graduating in size from large to small, suggesting bubbles.

The engraved signature “Daum Nancy France” is near the base.

12 1/2” (31.7cm) high, 11” (28cm) diameter at the rim.
