French opaline glass and gilt metal covered basket.  The blue opaline glass liner is in perfect condition.  The woven gilt metal basket has a rope twist handle and an oak leaf and acorn finial.

A charming container for your favourite sweets!

The basket is 3 1/2” (8.9cm) high, 6 1/2” (16.5cm) high to the top of the handle, 

5 5/8” (14.3cm) diameter.
