Art Deco R. Lalique plate “Epis”, model # 3014, designed by Rene Lalique in 1921.  Epis translated from French is “ears”, depicting the silks of the ears of corn.  Signed in the center with raised block letters:  R. LALIQUE and etched: France N 3014, indicating that it was made in Rene Lalique’s lifetime, dating it between 1921 and 1945.  The surface of the plate has minor scratches; wear consistent with age and use.
