Art Deco R. Lalique “Mossi” vase, in clear and frosted glass, model # 1088, designed by Rene Lalique in 1933.  This example is signed R. Lalique France, dating it between 1933 and 1945.  The clever design incorporates the optical illusion of light reflected within each half orb.  Signed on the bottom in block letters:  R. LALIQUE FRANCE.

The bottom has age related scuff marks, wear consistent with age and use.

8 1/4” (21cm) high, 6” (15.3cm) diameter at the rim.
