Art Deco R. Lalique bowl, “Ondines” model # 380, designed circa 1921.  The bowl features six swimming mermaids, depicted in different positions on clear to opalescent glass.  

Signed on the bottom in block letters:  R. LALIQUE FRANCE, indicating that it was made in Rene Lalique’s lifetime, dating it between 1921 and 1945.  The bowl exhibits minor wear only on the rim of the base where it touches the table surface.  Wear consistent with age and use.

8 1/4” (21cm) diameter, 3” (7.6cm) high.
