Art Deco R. Lalique opalescent shallow bowl, “Oeillets” (Carnations).  Model #422, designed in 1932.  The bowl is covered in a repeating pattern of raised carnations, highlighted by the opalescence, interspersed with geometric stylized leaves.  

The bowl is clearly marked R. Lalique France, signifying that it was made in Rene Lalique’s lifetime; by 1945.  The bowl exhibits minor scratches only on the base, wear consistent with age and use.

14 1/4” (36.2cm) diameter, 2 1/4” (5.7cm) high.
