Vintage Lalique France “Deux Colombes”, ring tray, also known as Kissing Doves or Lovebirds, designed with two nuzzling doves.  The design originated with Rene Lalique on a glass clock case in 1926; with the design evolving into a pin tray by 1931.  The romantic lovebird motif has been popular ever since and has also been made as a seal and a car mascot.  Signed on the bottom with the etched Lalique R France signature used after 1978, with the intact original paper label.  (The label can be removed)
