Lobmeyr Bunt Rococo Enamelled Goblet circa 1870s

Exquisite Lobmeyr “Bunt Rococo” enamelled crystal goblet, circa 1870s.  Made by J. & L. Lobmeyr of Vienna, Austria, established in 1823.  Bunt is German for colourful enamelled painting and gilding and Rococo is the fanciful pattern designed by Heinrich Bergmann circa 1872-75.  This piece features a young lady in 18th century dress within a floral wreath on a 12-sided goblet, rising from a facetted and tapered octagonal stem with additional enamelling on the pedestal foot.  The goblet is in very fine condition.

5 7/8” (15cm) high, 2 1/2” (6.4cm) by 2 1/8” (5.4cm) at the rim.
