Murano glass bowl in red to amber glass with silver flecks, circa 1960.  The colour combination of the amber top of the bowl with the silver flecks provides the unique illusion of the flecks appearing to be gold when viewed from the top.

It could be used for a cigar ashtray.

8” (20.3cm) by  6 1/4” (15.9cm), 2 3/4” (7cm) high.
