Scavo Murano Glass Vase

Product Details

Vintage Murano glass “Scavo” vase, in the form of a traditional amphora vase from antiquity.  Scavo translates to unearthed or excavated, as it is in imitation of the patina of glass found in archaeological excavations.

The vase is pale purple with applied clear glass handles in the form of a cord.  The original label is intact, stating:

HAND MADE

VENEZIA

14 3/4” (37.5cm) high, 7 1/2” (19cm) diameter at the widest.
